A Message From
Our Head of School

It is an honour to be able to welcome you to The Orchards Primary Academy on behalf of our Pupils, Staff, and TLAC governance, a school that is proud to serve its community, where we place our children at the heart of all that we do.  Here at The Orchards Primary Academy we hold the strongest belief that all of our children are able to achieve and be successful within a wide range of opportunities.  We have the highest expectations of our pupils in terms of progress, achievement and conduct and our staff strive to bring the best out of every individual that forms a branch in the tree of The Orchards.

As members of the UWMAT community, a highly supportive network of educational experts and family schools, The Orchards finds itself at the cutting edge of education with support and challenge to always ensure that our children have the very best experiences.  Our school values underpin our curriculum and we invest in ensuring that our children live by these values, to become the best learners and citizens that they can be.

This website is only a glimpse of our school and what we have to offer.  We would be delighted to have a conversation or arrange a visit for any future member of our school community so you can see for yourself just what makes our school and our pupils so special!

Maintaining good mental health is just as important as having a healthy body. It affects the way children think, feel and act. As a parent, you play an important role in promoting your child's mental health and recognising when there may be early signs of difficulties.

Please watch the video at the link below, to see how you can continue to support your child's mental health during lockdown.
